Real-Name Registration

The Telecommunications (Registration of SIM Cards) Regulation (“Regulation”) came into effect on 1st September 2021. Pursuant to the Regulation, prepaid SIM cards that can be used in Hong Kong must complete Real-Name Registration in order to activate or continue the use of telecommunications service from 1 March 2022. Fair use of data

It provides 20GB 4G network mobile data service and tethering and Peer-to-Peer services would not be available.

Data validity period

30-Day. The SIM card will be expired on the 30th day at 23:59 Hong Kong time since card activation.

Validity period

The prepaid card is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. It will be invaild after expiry.

Whether add value

· The SIM is valid for 30 days upon initial activation. During this period, data services will be suspended and any unused data will be forfeited. Additional Data can be purchased by recharge. If there is no recharge within 30 days, the SIM will no longer be valid.
· For each HK$50 is top-upped, an additional 20GB data will be top-upped with a valid period of 30 days
